An estimated 900 people attended all or parts of the fifth annual Rhythm & Ribs celebration, sponsored by the Albion Chamber of Commerce in downtown Albion last Saturday, Aug. 23.
A total of 31 grilling teams competed for the $2,200 in total prize money.
Many area residents were on hand by 12 noon to sample barbecue specialties and vote to determine winners in the People’s Choice judging.
Life Size Beer Pong again proved popular, with nine teams competing in the second year of this contest.
