School Board sets bond election plan

Boone Central School Board approved a resolution Monday night to place a $12,990,000 bond issue before the school district’s voters at the general election on Nov. 4, 2014.
The bond issue would finance four basic segments of a plan to include both an addition and extensive renovation at Albion.
Largest portion of the project would be an addition to the east side of the school, including a new kitchen, commons area/cafeteria, competition gym, locker rooms, wrestling deck, administrative offices and secured entrances, carrying a total cost of $7,876,895.
