Approval by the Boone County Commissioners on Monday, Sept. 29, clears the way for Boone County Health Center to purchase a plot of land in Greeley County for construction of the new BCHC Spalding Medical Clinic.
Vic Lee, president and CEO of the health center, met with commissioners Monday morning to discuss details of the pending purchase of slightly more than one acre of land on the west side of College Inn Road in Spalding for the new clinic, which has been approved by the BCHC Board of Directors. Land is $14,000 per acre.
Plans call for the clinic to be located adjacent to a proposed new nursing home at Spalding, and the two facilities would be connected by a handicapped accessible covered walkway.
