The past week was a huge one for Boone Central fall sports.
The girls cross country team claimed their first-every Class C state championship on Friday at the state meet in Kearney.
Later that evening, the Cardinal football team earned the C1-3 District championship and completed an 8-0 regular season, defeating Norfolk Catholic 32-16 in front of a capacity crowd.
Boone Central will host Milford-Dorchester in the first round of the state playoffs this Friday, Oct. 31, at 7 p.m.
