Several “pillar organizations,” including the Boone County Health Center Foundation, Good Samaritan Society-Albion and the Boone County Fitness Center, will be participating in the first Boone County Big Give event on Dec. 5, 2014.
The Big Give will be a 12-hour awareness campaign designed to acknowledge and support the efforts of the county’s charitable organizations.
Gifts of all sizes will be accepted at “Giving Stations” throughout the county. A total of 13 charities are involved, and gifts of all sizes will count toward the total for each of them.
