It was a perfect day for Petersburg’s 201 Punkin’ Chunkin’ event last Sunday, Oct. 26.
More than 800 people attended the 11th annual event with a light breeze and temperatures in the high 70s.
Ralph Weeder’s team won the distance competition with an air cannon shot of 3,311 feet, and the Scholl family team won the accuracy contest.
