Marion R. Shafer

Marion R. Shafer, 77, of Norfolk, passed away at the Golden Living Center in Norfolk on Oct. 26, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church in Norfolk on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Steve Lund and Rev. Matthew Bahnfleth, officiating. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. at the Old Christ Lutheran Cemetery, rural Norfolk with Military Rite by American Legion Post 16, VFW Post 1644, and the United States Air Force. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.stonacekfuneralchapel.com.
