Boone County ranked 35th among all 93 Nebraska counties for net taxable retail sales in 2013, according to information from the Nebraska Department of Revenue.
The county had $58,770,173 in net taxable sales for 2013, an increase of 7.3 percent from the 2012 total of $54,770,173.
While having the 35th largest next taxable retail sales total for 2013, Boone County ranked 52nd in population among the 93 counties, with 5,388 residents.
