Petersburg Community Club has decided to erect a new and larger park shelter in the downtown park for their Big Give project.
A drawing of the proposed shelter will be on display Friday, Dec. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will also be at Rae Valley Market from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Envelopes will be available for donations.
During the event, there will be a point system where $10 is equal to one point from each unique giver. So if one person gives, $10, $20, or $30, it is still one point. Points earned allows a greater share of the grant money for non-profit organizations involved.
