School Board considers another building bond

Boone Central School Board held its first group discussion on facilities since the Nov. 6 bond election last Tuesday evening, Dec. 2.
Another bond election, possibly as early as May of 2015, was under consideration at the meeting.
Board members discussed what they had learned from the latest bond issue, and appeared to be in agreement that more education of voters on the $12.99 million project would be key to gaining approval. The bond issue failed by just 41 votes, 754 to 795, in the general election.
