Boone County Commissioners appointed Barb Hanson to serve the official four-year term of Boone County Assessor during its regular meeting Monday, Dec. 22.
Earlier this month, Hanson was appointed to serve the remainder of the current term (ending Jan. 8, 2015) following the death of Assessor Joyce Sock in November.
Hanson was the only applicant for the four-year term, which will start Jan. 8 and continue through January of 2019.
