Loup Power announces 2.37% rate hike

In January, Loup Public Power District retail customers will see increases in their electricity bills, based on a retail rate increase approved by the Loup Board of Directors on Dec. 23.
An overall retail rate increase of 2.37 percent will go into effect for bills issued after Jan. 15, 2015.
This increase is for all retail customers excluding ADM, although different customer classes and usage levels will see different levels of increase.
