This winter’s biggest storm so far struck most of Nebraska last Saturday night and Sunday, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.
The storm, which followed nearly two weeks of unseasonably warm weather, brought three to five inches of snow to the Boone County area, and packed it into drifts with strong winds.
In Boone County, there were no serious storm-related accidents or incidents, according to the Sheriff’s office.
