Albion Education Foundation has approved a $250,000 grant for the Boone Central math and science programs should the upcoming bond issue be approved.
Carol Kusek, foundation president, said the board of directors met Monday, March 30, to approve the grant opportunity.
Funds designated for the grant are derived from a variety of assets presently held by the Albion Education Foundation. The largest of the foundation assets was a gift of $95,000 by the Mitzi Fox estate.
