A village-wide clean up has been scheduled by Village of Petersburg and Supervisor Doug Koch for April 16-20. The clean up was announced at the April 7 village board meeting.
Chairman Thorberg stated, “I think it’s a great service for our community.”
On a related matter, Bud’s Sanitary Service has notified the village board that the cost of recycling will change, with a possible 50-cent extra charge per household.
The board’s consensus was to try to keep the recycling program going.
