June Carnival Days was discussed at the Petersburg Community Club meeting held Monday evening, May 4.
President Jeff Temme said the committee has been working on new ideas. Tuesday will be children’s day. Wednesday will have water fights, and Thursday will have the free barbecue sponsored by the Petersburg State Bank.
The committee has also decided against selling beer at the event. They felt that there are enough places that sell alcohol already.
