Even after 50 years, the memories are painful for some.
On May 8, 1965, a devastating F-4 tornado tore through the Boone County village of Primrose, killing four residents and leaving behind a 300-yard-wide path of destruction.
Clocks stopped at 4:55 p.m. in Primrose that Saturday.
That time will be noted during 50th anniversary observance of the Primrose tornado this Friday, May 8, in Primrose.
