School bond vote count next Tuesday

Boone Central school facilities plan to be decided by voters.If you haven’t turned in your ballot yet for the special Boone Central School bond election, you still have a few days to do so.
Ballots in the $12.99 million bond issue vote must be turned in to the Boone County Clerk by 5 p.m. next Tuesday, May 12, to be counted in the bond election.
After 5 p.m. on May 12, the ballots will be opened and counted. If all goes well and the ballot-counting equipment functions properly, County Clerk Kathy Thorberg said she expects to have the vote counted by 6 p.m.
