If you haven’t turned in your ballot yet for the special Boone Central School bond election, you still have a few days to do so.
Ballots in the $12.99 million bond issue vote must be turned in to the Boone County Clerk by 5 p.m. next Tuesday, May 12, to be counted in the bond election.
After 5 p.m. on May 12, the ballots will be opened and counted. If all goes well and the ballot-counting equipment functions properly, County Clerk Kathy Thorberg said she expects to have the vote counted by 6 p.m.
