A Petersburg native, Doug Koch, has been named the new executive director of the Boone County Development Agency (BCDA).
Koch, 49, is changing course in his career to become a full-time economic development director starting June 1.
For the remainder of May, he will be splitting his time between his current job as Petersburg’s utilities superintendent and the BCDA position.
