At the Petersburg Village Board meeting last week, Auditor Joe Stump reported on the village audit, which was recently completed.
Stump stated, “Everything looks clean on the finances. There were quite a bit of capital finances going back to 2014, but that included the fire hall, street cameras, and playground mulch. The village works on a cash basis. There is only $27,000 in non-restricted funds, which I see as a small problem.”
