The Boone Central/Newman Grove golf team concluded its 2015 campaign in the B3 District meet at Southern Hills Golf Course in Hastings.
On a blustery day, the Cardinals finished 11th in the 12-team field with a team total of 398.
Scotus (337) won the B3 championship, followed by York (347) and Seward (348). Tournament medalist was Ashton Graham of Adams Central, whose 73 bested the field by seven strokes.
Parker Wallin led BC/NG with an 18-hole round of 89. Joel Meyer carded a 91 over the Southern Hills layout.

Prior to the district meet, Boone Central/Newman Grove placed fifth in the Fullerton Invite, held May 12 at Steepleview Golf Course in Humphrey.
The Cardinals posted a team score of 367 in the event won by Ord (307).
Joel Meyer was the fifth-place medalist with rounds of 40/38-78. Parker Wallin (43/43-86) placed 13th. Completing scoring for BC/NG were Nathan Gottier (52/49-101), Blake Olnes (53/49-102) and Bryton Fowlkes (54/52-106).
