The building that once housed the restaurant and bar known as Billy Bob’s came crashing down along Main Street in downtown Albion on Thursday, May 21.
The structure has been designated for demolition since last August, when it was purchased by the Albion Economic Development Corp.
Bygland Dirt Contracting had reduced the building to a pile of rubble by Thursday evening, and much of the clean-up work had been completed before rain showers slowed progress on Friday afternoon.
