Genealogists, writers and the general public are invited to use the new searchable database of all Albion newspapers for the last 136 years.
Through grants from the Boone County Area Foundation Fund and donations from Albion Public Library patrons, the database was finalized recently by the Advantage Companies of Cedar Rapids, IA, which focuses exclusively on historical document preservation..
The database will be available to anyone by going to the libary’s website. The Albion Public Library Board of Directors voted to let anyone use the information with no charge at the present time.
