LaVern “Shorty” Joseph Landauer, 89, of Albion, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Albion with Fr. Stan Schmit officiating. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with a 7 p.m. Wake Service. Harvey Lee Townsend, son of Guy and Cora (Kruse) Townsend, was born July 31, 1924. He died at his home in Newburg, OR, on June 24, 2015.
