Sales of $10 million in construction bonds for Boone Central Public Schools went “very smoothly,” according to Jerry Spethman, a representative of DA Davidson, the bond underwriter.
Average annual interest rate for the bonds was 3.26 percent.
Spethman said there was “significant local interest” in the bonds, and local banks participated.
