With budget time approaching, Boone County Commissioners spent much of their July 20 meeting discussing employee wages and policies.
One of the policies under discussion was the possibility of more frequent reviews of wage and salary levels of non-elected department heads and employees. The county’s current policy calls for a review only once every four years.
Commissioners will continue wage discussions at their next meeting on July 27.
