Albion Planning Commission and Albion City Council have scheduled public hearings next week on a zoning change and a conditional use permit for businesses.
Pillen Milling, LLC has reequested a zoning change from transitional agriculture to light industrial for a 12.58 acre tract at the northeast corner of Highway 14 and 240th Ave., northwest of Albion.
Jay and Carmen Johnson are seeking a conditional use permit to establish an auto repair shop at Fourth and Main Street.
Planning Commission hearing will be Monday night, and the City Council hearing will be Tuesday night, Aug. 11.
