Ruth Ekstrom

Ruth Ekstrom, 106 of Albion, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion with Rev. David Frerichs officiating. Interment followed at Immanuel-Zion Lutheran South Branch Cemetery, rural Albion. Levander Funeral Home of Albion was in charge of arrangements.

Stanley A. Czarnik

Stanley Anthony Czarnik, 82 of St. Edward, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at St. Edward Catholic Church in St. Edward with Msgr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiating. Interment followed at Krakow Cemetery in rural Genoa with Military Rites conducted by the American Legion Crosier Post #226 of St. Edward.
