‘Bash’ in success in Petersburg

STRONG FINISH -- Winning team in Bash Adventure Race, Tori Petsche and Danielle Koch, run the three-legged race in costume.Plenty of food, music and fun marked the seventh annual Bash in the Burg at Petersburg last Saturday, Aug. 8.
A total of 13 teams began grilling pork ribs, pork butt, chicken and rabbit starting at 8 a.m., competing for cash prizes, along with craft brewers, wine and concoction makers, and bread bakers.
The Bash Adventure Race, in its second year, featured three adult teams and four children’s teams.
