American Legion Post# 162, VFW Post 736, Sons of the American Legion Squadron #162 and The American Legion Riders Chapter #162 will be hosting the annual Remembrance Day Freedom Walk this Friday, Sept. 11, in Albion.
Everyone is invited to attend the annual event. The group will meet in front of the court house (north side) before 6 p.m. From there, they will assemble on Fourth Street east of the Court House. The walk will begin at 6 p.m., and the route will be one block south, one block west and one block north back to the courthouse.
A short ceremony will follow.
After the walk, everyone is invited to the Albion Veterans Club for a lunch.
