David Merrell of rural St. Edward was elected last week as the new chairman of the Nebraska Corn Board.
The board elected new officers for 2015-16 at their Aug. 31 meeting in The Embassy Suites Hotel in Lincoln. The board also conducted regular board business.
Merrell is District 7 director on the Nebraska Corn Board.
