Jeanine “J” Marie Cockerill, 60, of Omaha passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, following a battle with cancer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Sept, 17, 2015 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Albion with Rev. Stan Schmit officiating. Inurnment will follow Thursday afternoon at St. Michael’s Cemetery at Spalding. Visitation will be 5:30–7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with a 7:30 p.m. wake service. Norma Jean Johnson, 79, of rural Newman Grove, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center Cottages in Albion. Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 14, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion with Rev. David Frerichs and Pastor Becky Beckman officiating. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery.
