Boone County Health Center’s Cancer Care Team will be sponsoring the first annual “Color Me a Cure” run/walk event this Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Boone Central football field starting at 9 a.m.
Events will include both one-mile and 5K run/walks. Proceeds will be used to purchase gas cards for local cancer patients.
All of the Boone Central/Newman Grove football team will be either participating or assisting with traffic control and other duties at this event.
