Kyley Sorell just keeps getting better.
After placing 13th and 7th in tournaments a week ago, Sorell returned to the familiar surroundings of her home course Saturday to finish a career-best 4th in the annual Boone Central Invitational at the Albion Country Club.
Sorell experienced a few struggles on her opening nine, posting a 49, but came back strong with a closing 45 and finished alone in 4th with a 94 total.
Boone Central (452) placed 6th in the eight-team field. Rounding out BC/NG’s scoring were Hannah Groth (62/52-114), Lyndsey Figgner (55/59-114), Ashley Mewhirter (63/67-130) and Maggie Cleveland (79/78-157).
