Albion Senior Citizens Center celebrated 35 years of memories with a special meal and entertainment Saturday evening, Sept. 26.
The late Bill Mundschenk, campaigned to form the senior center in 1980 and served on its first board along with Gordon Haave, Marvin Olnes, Bill Thessen and others.
The senior center began in 1980 in the old Albion Fire Station, and moved into the Knights of Columbus Hall after the first month.
