Petersburg Community Club met Monday evening, Oct. 5, 2015. The Boone County BIG GIVE will be held Dec. 4, 2015. Rae Valley Market and Great Plains State Bank (formerly Petersburg State Bank) will have donation stations.
There is an increase to 15 participants this year. A newsletter will be inserted in the Albion News explaining the details.
The Petersburg project selected is a portable aluminum stage with a canopy which could be used for various events including the carnival, Bash, firemen’s dance and Punkin’ Chunkin’TM. It would be light and easy to move.
A committee will be set up and perhaps a drawing with information and cost will be available at the November meeting.
