A St. Edward man was injured in a one-vehicle accident shortly before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, just north of Albion on Highway 14.
Boone County Sheriff’s Department reported that Gaylen Parsons of St. Edward was driving a 1936 Chevrolet vehicle southbound on the highway when he apparently lost control and struck the east rail of the Beaver Creek bridge.
Parsons was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported with non-life-threatening injuries by Albion Rescue to the Boone County Health Center.
The vehicle was considered a total loss.
