A new event is planned for Thanksgiving Day this year in downtown Albion.
Albion Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring its first annual “Turkey Trot” 5K run on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 26.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the downtown mini-park, and the run will start at 8:30 a.m.
