Albion Chamber of Commerce continues its series of special holiday events this week.
Be watching for the “Elves,” who will be handing out Christmas Bucks and valuable business coupons throughout the season.
The elves will also be collecting Letters to Santa from area children at the downtown mini-park.
A Thanksgiving Day “Turkey Trot” 5K run will begin at the mini-park this Thursday, Nov. 26, with registration at 8 a.m. and the run to follow.
Most local stores will be open on Black Friday, Nov. 27, and Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28, and several will have special sales.
A Holiday Light Parade is set for Thursday evening, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m. Santa will be in the parade and will have treats for the children. A Chili Feed will also be held at the Veterans Club from 5 to 8 p.m.

– Saturday, Dec. 5 – Super Shopping Saturday & Free Kids Movie, 10 a.m. Shopping bags handed out at the Mini-Park.
– Thursday, Dec. 10 – Live Animals at the Mini-Park & Polar Express Bus, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
– Thursday, Dec. 17 – Hayrack rides at the Mini-Park, 5:30 to 8 p.m.
