In just nine days, Boone County residents will be rallying in support of their favorite projects in the second annual Big Give, which is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4.
The 2015 Big Give will support more organizations and more projects than last year.
It will benefit the projects of 16 county organizations, ranging from arts and education programming to hospital equipment, a new nursing home wing and other building improvements.
Will the 2015 Big Give rival last year’s 630 gifts totaling $172,000?
No one can say at this point, but regardless of the dollar total, the primary goal is to stimulate charitable giving by more county residents each year.
