‘Light Parade’ was big success

An Albion fire truck leads the Light Parade.With a total of 29 floats from various businesses and organizations, the first Albion Chamber of Commerce Light Parade brought the Christmas spirit last Thursday night, Dec. 3.
The lighted floats and groups lined up on Fifth Street and circled through the downtown area.
Afterward, there was a chili supper, and Santa visited with children at the Veterans Club.
Other upcoming Christmas season events in Albion are:
– Thursday, Dec. 10 – Live Animals at the Mini-Park & Polar Express Bus, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
– Thursday, Dec. 17 – Hayrack rides at the Mini-Park, 5:30 to 8 p.m.
