Allen Thorberg, senior vice president and cashier at Great Plains State Bank, Petersburg, has announced his plans to retire from the bank effective Dec. 31.
“I have enjoyed my 38 years at Petersburg State Bank, now Great Plains State Bank, but I feel this is a natural time for me to step down,” said Thorberg. He noted that banking will be progressing through many changes in the near future.
