Elaine Schlesinger Wolf

Elaine Schlesinger Wolf, 89, of Albion, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at her home in Albion. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 25, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Albion with Rabbi Craig Lewis officiating. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion. Levander Funeral Home in Albion was in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Boone County Fitness Center Endowment or Boone County Area Foundation. Clair Siroky

Clair Siroky, 79, of Abie, passed away Jan. 24, 2016 at David Place in David City. A parish rosary was held Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in David City. A funeral mass was held Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, also at St. Mary’s Cahtolic Church. Burial was as Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Abie. Helen J. Milburn

Helen J. Milburn, 94, of Pueblo West, CO, formerly of Chappell, prior to the Legacy Commons, passed away Monday, Jan. 18, 2016 at Legacy Commons Assisted Living in Pueblo West, CO. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the St. Edward Catholic Church in St. Edward with Msgr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiating. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery in St. Edward. There will be no public visitation.

Alfred “Fritz” Brenneis passed away Jan. 20, 2016 at Omaha. Memorial services were held on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016 at the community center in Newman Grove. Inurnment will be at a later date

Gina Ann Hanlon

Gina Ann (Cook) Hanlon, 27, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha from small cell carcinoma. Memorial services for Gina of Omaha, formerly of West Point, were held Friday, Jan. 22, 2016 at Christ Community Church in Omaha. Minnick Funeral Home in West Point was in charge of arrangements. The family suggests that memorials be directed to the family for P.J.’s education.
