Merlin L. Weber, Jr.

Merlin Leland Weber, Jr., 81, of Albion, passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Albion with Rev. Vern Olson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion with Military Rites conducted by American Legion Post 162 and VFW Post 736 of Albion. Visitation will be 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Levander Funeral Home in Albion with a 7:30 p.m. Masonic Rites service by Albion Lodge #78 AF & AM. Levander Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Boots (Beller) Bender

Boots (Beller) Bender passed peacefully from this earthly life to her eternal rest with Jesus Christ on Feb. 3, 2016 in Lincoln. Her interment is at Holy Family Cemetery in Lindsay. Donations may be made to the Humphrey Rescue Unit or your local food bank.

Robert “Bob” F. Schalk

Robert F. “Bob” Schalk, 75 of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 at his home in Cedar Rapids. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids with Msgr. Ralph Steffensmeier officiating. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Primrose, with military rites conducted by Dan Cox American Legion Post 44 of Cedar Rapids. William H. Maben

William H. Maben, 89, passed away Feb. 10, 2016 at the Village House at John Knox. Services were held Friday, Feb. 12 at the Langsford Funeral Home. Burial was at Floral Hills East Cemetery.
