Cedar Cares for Kids has announced that the 12th annual Toma Rutten Memorial Polar Bear Dip will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, at Mel’s Landing north of Cedar Rapids.
The bonfire will be lit at 2 p.m., and the “Polar Bears” will jump into the Cedar River at 3 p.m.
Free will donations will go to Cedar Cares for Kids, an organization that provides support for children who have experienced an emergency or loss, such as an accident, fire, illness or death in the family.
