Participants in the 12th annual Toma Rutten Memorial Polar Bear Dip enjoyed temperatures in the mid-70s before they jumped into the 34-degree Cedar River last Saturday. More than 35 people jumped in this year to raise funds for Cedar Cares for Kids. Above, one of the participants is about to have a cold landing.
The event raises funds for Cedar Cares for Kids to help area children in need.
