Dustin Nielsen, activities director at Boone Central Public Schools since 2012, was named Outstanding Administrator by the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association during their annual convention last week.
The Outstanding Administrator Award honors an administrator for his/her support, interest, and encouragement of the school instrumental music program.
Dustin was nominated by band director Whitney Paulson.
