Excavation and concrete work have been underway since eearly March at the new $8 million feed mill and grain storage facility being built for Pillen Milling, LLC northwest of Albion.
Deep excavations have been made for the grain pit and conveyor system.
Jeff Heinrich of Pillen Family Farms said the goal for completion of the grain storage facility is the fall of 2016, followed by completion of the feed mill during the first quarter of 2017.
