Marjorie Whitten, 88, of Albion, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Rehab and Care Center in Norfolk. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Albion with Fr. Stan Schmit officiating. Interment followed at the parish cemetery. Francis Edward Beister, 82, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Morys Haven. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 562 17th Ave., Columbus, NE with Rev. Del Lape officiating. Military honors will be by Hartman Post 84 American Legion Honor Guard. It will be followed by a family interment at All Saints Cemetery in Columbus. Memorials are suggested to St. Anthony’s scholarships, American Lung Association, Columbus Library, or to the donor’s choice.
