Officials from the Albion Chamber of Commerce and the City of Albion were on hand to welcome Hometown Shopko during the store’s grand opening last Friday, March 25.
Mayor Jim Jarecki welcomed the store staff and management, and the chamber presented a new business plaque.
Shopko presented a $1,500 check to Boone Central High School for its educational programs.
